Overview
The Toro card is perfect for servo control
and data acquisition applications requiring high performance
C6711 DSP with precision 16-bit analog. Its
high-performance 32-bit floating-point DSP controls up to 16
simultaneous channels of independent A/D (ADC)
and D/A (DAC)
conversion.
Toro uses the acclaimed C6711 DSP
processor (TMS320C6711) from Texas Instruments as the heart of the
data movement and processing center. The Toro’s high performance
32/64 bit PCI bus is capable of up to 264 Mbytes/sec data bursts,
which makes it ideal for data-intensive applications. Also available
on CompactPCI (cPCI) - cToro
Toro is also supported by
Real Time System Editor, a software application for building
data acquisition and logging systems without the need to write your
own code. |
