Course Location

The public courses are held in Scotland near Loch Lomond and about 30 minutes from Glasgow.

The hotel the courses are held at is called The Buchanan Arms and more information can be found on their website www.buchananarms.co.uk.

The hotel is located in the picturesque village of Drymen. This former coaching inn combines traditional friendly atmosphere with modern comforts.

The facilities include a superb restaurant with excellent food and wines, cosy lounges with log fires, oak beamed bar with a large selection of whiskeys and a luxury leisure club with a large pool.

Drymen is the gateway to the unspoilt eastern shore of Loch Lomond, this attractive village with its handsome square spans the Endrick Water and is a favourite resting place on the West Highland Way. It has a few pubs, shops and restaurants and has a very slow relaxed air about it.

View of Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond is one of the most beautiful of Scotlands Lochs and is well worth a visit at any time of the year. The contrast between highland and lowwland Scotland is most apparent here. South of the Highland Boundry Fault the landscape is gentle and rolling, while the mightly peaks of Ben Lomond and the Anchor Alps overlook the north end of the loch. (this is not visible from the hotel building).
