Overview
FIFOCable provides high speed connectivity between FIFOPort compatible cards. Utilizing Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) transceivers, the FIFOCable enables high quality interboard signaling, and is ideal for connecting high speed processor boards or interface to custom electronics. For example, a wide range of analog I/O may be added to the powerful Quatro6x board via FIFOPort connection to a ChicoPlus.

Manufactured with dual printed circuit boards and an interconnecting cable, the FIFOCable installs on FIFOPort compatible host cards. Each printed circuit board provides full duplex driver/receiver capability while the interconnect cable allows the host cards to be physically separated within the system.

FIFOCable supports all standard FIFOPort features, including full bandwidth and the capability to monitor status on the FIFO buffers on each end of the link. Communication may occur in both directions simultaneously and status may be monitored in both directions as well.
