Overview
Toro is a performance-oriented Data Acquisition/DSP card for PCI-based
data capture/playback and co-processing with a high channel count of
analog I/O up to 250kHz. It provides 16 simultaneous analog input and
output, both at 16-bit resolution and using the highest quality analog
circuitry to deliver an exceptional S/N performance exceeding 90 dB in
Spurious Free Dynamic Range. It is designed around the acclaimed C6711
processor from Texas Instruments, which acts as the data movement and
processing center. The state-of-the-art logic architecture supports
flexible trigger mechanisms and a choice of timebase sources. Combined
with Innovative Integration's multi-board support features, Toro is a
truly complete solution for a wide array of applications like advance
servo-control, MIMO systems, MEMS and optical switch control, vibration
analysis and precision instruments.
For data acq & playback applications (no DSP code development), ToroDAQ
can be fully controlled from a Windows C++ application using simple
function calls from our DAQ libraries, as illustrated in powerful data
logger/player turnkey applications.
For applications where the DSP performs real-time processing and
control functions, Toro is delivered with Pismo, a complete software tool
suite of host and target libraries and utilities well integrated into
Texas Instruments' Code Composer Studio. |
